Trail Riding

the Best View in the World is looking between a horses ears

Horseback riding is a fun and relaxing experience you can do with friends and family.  Join us for a scenic trail ride through Buffalo Bill's Scouts Rest Ranch and along the North Platte River. During the ride there are a variety of native grasses, flowers, and trees to be enjoyed, as well as different species of birds including bald eagles, hawks, ducks, geese, gulls, red-winged black birds, and great blue heron. Other wildlife that may be seen includes deer, foxes, racoons, rabbits, and more.

We offer two options for riders:
- A short 10-minute pony ride for $10/person* for kids ages 3-5 years old, or
- A long trail ride - approximately 3 miles (1-hr) - for $26/person* for ages 6+
For groups of 5 people or more we offer a special rate of $21/person*
*plus a small online booking fee

This is a walking trail ride suitable for both inexperienced and experienced riders, ages 6 and older.

Our petting zoo is also available to be visited before and after your ride and may be enjoyed by all riding participants at no additional charge. For anyone not participating in a horseback ride the petting zoo may be enjoyed for only $5/person. Ages 2 and under are free.
